PEER TUTORING & WORKSHOPS
Empowering Futures
At Triangle STEM Foundation, we support academic growth and long-term opportunity through hands-on workshops and a structured peer tutoring program. Our workshops focus on practical skills that prepare students for the next stages of their education, including resume development, college application strategy, and public speaking. Through interactive instruction and real-world practice, students build confidence and learn how to communicate their ideas clearly and effectively.

Our programming also features guest speakers working across a range of STEM fields who share firsthand insights into their academic and professional paths. These sessions expose students to diverse career possibilities and help them better understand how STEM education translates into real-world impact.

In addition, our peer tutoring program provides personalized academic support across mathematics and science disciplines. Led by trained local volunteers, tutoring is offered from foundational math through calculus, as well as in physics, biology, chemistry, and related subjects. This individualized approach allows students to strengthen core skills, build confidence in challenging material, and receive consistent encouragement.

Offered both online and in person, our workshops and tutoring sessions create supportive learning environments where girls can develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed academically and pursue future opportunities in STEM.
